Teddy Culpepper,Sr., a Nacogdoches native who relocated to the Houston area, has years of experience, "firing up the grill." Teddy's signature BBQ Ribs is one of the most requested items on SoulPepper's menu. Teddy is definitely in his element when he's Grilling!
ReAnnettresse Culpepper
ReAnnettresse Culpepper, also a Nacogdoches native is the driving force behind SoulPepper's. Her creativity has inspired creations such as Funnel Wings, which makes you come back time and time again for that sweet and perfectly salty combination!
The Culpeppers
As a young couple, Teddy and ReAnnettresse (Nette) have always enjoyed hosting game nights for other young couples and singles in their home. Good food and hours of laughter were always the focal points of each gathering. It was during these gatherings, friends would often tell them they should consider opening a restaurant. Although a dream of Nette's; Teddy had to be persuaded to step into the retail food industry.
Years later and transition to a new city, SoulPeppers was born! SoulPepper's has become one of the hottest comfort food eateries in the Baytown/Houston area. Their signature BBQ, Soul Wings, and Fish Fry Friday has solidified its place in the community. Its newest addition to the menu, "Seasoning For Your Soul," is quickly becoming a favorite and a must-have kitchen staple with sales across the nation!
